Michael Wist

MickMichael Wist was born in Baltimore, Maryland in February, 1974 and grew up in the nearby suburb of Pasadena. Michael, known as “Mick” to friends, matriculated from Mount Saint Mary’s College in 1996, with degrees in English and Economics.

Mick’s initial career path led him to work in a law firm, where he confirmed what he had always known — working for the man wasn’t nearly as much fun as being the man. Mick is a strategic thinker who possesses the rather rare ability to quickly discern the gist of any given social or business situation. As such, he was born not believing in Santa Claus and became disenchanted with the American political process in 1982, at the age of eight.

Mick also possesses a keen insight into the human condition and dry witticisms roll from his tongue like breakers endlessly tumbling onto the beach. He is clinically modest and a true master of self-praising imagery (see previous sentence).

Mick lives in Ellicott City, Maryland with his lovely wife Allison and their two champion Maltweilers. Together with friend and business partner Matt Blevins, Mick has built and managed numerous businesses and continues his entrepreneurial pursuits with Insourced.
