Louisville Paralegal Jobs Slow at Present
The market for paralegal jobs has been slowing steadily for essentially the same period of time as the current economic downturn, though certainly there are pockets of activity in specialized law firms and, needless to say, many of those positions will be related to mortgage defaults and foreclosures.
In Kentucky, Louisville paralegal jobs have been particularly slow during the course of 2010, even while seeming to shrug off the larger economic concerns that have seen a drop in paralegal employment nationwide. There appears to be no apparent reason for the market to have remained strong in Louisville during the broader downturn and then to start dropping in the present year, but it may be related to a delayed effect of some sort. In any event, there still are a variety of employment opportunities available in the field, though the number doesn’t compare favorably to this point last year in Louisville.
