Man There are a Lot of Job Posts Out There

According to the Conference Board, 2.5 million new help wanted ads were posted online or in newspaper ads during October, 2006. That’s up 28% over the same month last year and is an indication of just how popular this whole “job board” thing has gotten. Where once Monster ruled the ‘Net, the proliferation of niche job sites, blogs with job listings and online newspapers has had an affect on the landscape. Despite that, it should be noted that the increase over September, 2006 was modest.
