Billick Moves to 2-0 in New Job
By: Matt, November 7th, 2006
Brian Billick, who shunned his former offensive coordinator a few weeks back and took his team’s offense (as well as his employment destiny) into his own hands, has moved to 2-0 as head coach/offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens won again on the strength of their defense and looked shaky late in the game, but the offense was clearly clicking under Billick and a rejuvenated Steve McNair. Whether the improvement is the result of better execution, better preparation or merely more enthusiasm among the offensive players for Billick’s style of coaching remains to be seen. So far, however, things are looking good for Billick in his role as manager.
