Billick Now 4-0 as “O” Coordinator

I’m late in writing it, but Ravens coach Brian Billick has moved his record as the Raven’s Offensive Coordinator to 4-0 with a resounding win over the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Though the team played miserably in the first half, and the offensive line looked like they were playing a road game with all their false starts, the entire team came around in the second half and erased the nominal 7-0 deficient that the sloppy play created in the first half. As research for this piece, I sat in the upper section of the stands at M&T Bank Stadium last Sunday and kept an eye on the action. Jamal Lewis’s number was called often in the second half despite a terrible first half and he rewarded his coach and “O” Coordinator with three touchdowns. Perhaps another management lesson? Stick with the employee with a solid track record even when he or she hits a rough spell. Chances are that employee will bounce back…
