Just as I was about to spout off about the far-reaching advantages of an office-less workforce, I stumbled upon the announcement of the launch of the Web Worker Daily, the latest blog launch from Om Malik of GigaOM fame. Although we’ve been self-employed for a little over 9 years now, it still can be a struggle to find the perfect balance of work and leisure, especially when your “office” can be virtually anywhere. I’m looking forward to checking out this new community and hopefully learning from the growing number of people whose office spaces are no longer clearly defined. If you’re one of the people that are working or procrastinating from anywhere at anytime, it could be an interesting place to hang out.
